Helping a senior by becoming her 'subject' for her article. :D Assalamualaikum readers, how have you been doing? Believe it or not, it's already the third week of May or in other word, it is the 144th day of the year! (today is Sunday, 24 May 2015). I hope that everyone is doing well and happy with whatever you are doing, ameen.  So this is the fourth part of the Working Experience series. In shaa ALLAH  will write about the internship experience I gained being an intern journalist at New Straits Times Press (NSTP).  I studied at Kolej Profesional Mara Indera Mahkota (KPMIM), in Kuantan, Pahang. I completed my programme which is called Diploma in English Communication (DeCOM). In short, this programme is a combination of little bit of education, communication, journalism, as well as project and presentation. I loved this programme because it built confidence in me when talking in front of people as we do presentation almost everyday. In the final se...

Assalamualaikum generous people. How are you today? May all of you are in the best state of health and iman, in shaa ALLAH. Alhamdulillah everything is fine about myself, only that I've been experiencing back ache for three days straight now, so...yeah... a bit painful. I hope it's the pregnancy thing, not something else or I could be in trouble! Hahaha. Alrighty people, have you worked at a restaurant before? If yes, did you like it? Yes? No? So so? For myself, I personally think that it is quite enjoyable (not as fun as at 7 Eleven though) working at Kenny Rogers Roasters Restaurants (KR, branch Ampang Point, again! Hehe). After quitting at 7E, I started working at KR from March till late May 2007. If you asked me why I quit working at 7E, I actually am not sure myself. I guess I was getting exhausted with the internal problems happening in the store that affected the relationship among the staff. On top of that, I had a friend working at KR, and she asked me to ...

Assalamualaikum readers, what have you been up to this week? I scrolled my instagram news feed and I could see some of my friends are away for vacation. One is in Krabi, and the other is in Chiba. Awh.....how I wish I could be somewhere else outside Malaysia too! Well I guess this year I must accept the fact that I need to start saving and get prepared for the birth of our first baby.  We (Amirul and I) really had the best of time last year as we traveled to Turkey and performed umrah in January. Later in April Amirul flew to Wellington for a week to spend time with me. Whereas in June, we discovered the beauty of Koh Phi Phi together for six days. Alhamdulillah, praise be to ALLAH, we were blessed for all those opportunities you've bestowed us (in shaa ALLAH I will write all those stories later). So this year, here I am now, striving and pushing myself to find good stuff to do since I have all the time in the world! Writing on this new blog of mine is one of it. ...

Assalamualaikum readers, how's your day been so far? Hopefully all is well, ameen. In shaa ALLAH this post will be a long one, for again, I have plenty to write about working experience. Perhaps there will be a few parts on this topic. Please stay with me till the end ya?  Alright people, if you are a Gen-Y like me, I believe you must have some sort of working experience right? In fact, we should be working already at this age! (I am 26 this year). In my case, since MARA hasn't called yet for placement, so I am unemployed since last November. Honestly, I am thankful that I haven't been called yet because there are lots to think of (especially if I get posted somewhere far from Selangor) such as my pregnancy and soon-to-labor, hubby's inflexibility to relocate since he just started working a few months ago, and other stuff. Hence, I take this as a blessing and start thinking of other plans if I don't end up with MARA. Now, this post is actually to write about...
